Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to drive MiQ's success. This role ensures a quality candidate experience, guiding them through the full recruitment process. This role collaborates with hiring managers across various departments to understand their talent needs and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Talent Sourcing and Acquisition:
- Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to source and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Develop sourcing strategies that produce a continuous, highly qualified pipeline of professionals for all departments at MiQ for current and future hiring needs.
- Ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and support
Project Management:
- Ensures interview, selection, and closing procedures are adhered to and consistent across searches
- Audits feedback and inputs from interview panels, ensuring completion and quality
- Keeps ATS up-to-date with most recent candidate information and status in process
- Promote MiQ as an employer of choice by effectively communicating its culture, values, and opportunities for growth and development
Internal Collaboration
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements and develop recruitment strategies tailored to their needs. Provide support throughout the hiring process, including job descriptions, identifying interview panels, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders at once and multiple interview stages
Innovation
- Partners with other Talent Leads and the Global TA team to create a dynamic community of practice across all of MiQ hiring
- Track key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, and candidate quality
- Assist in generating reports and provide insights on recruitment trends and areas for improvement.
What you’ll bring
- At least 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment
- Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools and technologies. Experience using Workday would be a huge plus.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information

Pay Transparency
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $75,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures.
