About the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with 2–4 years of experience to support hiring across multiple teams. This role serves as a consultative partner to hiring managers, helping define talent needs, navigate market dynamics, and identify hiring strategies.  The ideal candidate is solutions‑oriented and curious about using data, new technology, AI, and process improvements.  This is a hybrid role based in Lake Forest, IL, with 3 days per week in the office.

Responsible for supporting recruiting efforts by generating and maintaining a qualified applicant pool to meet current and future staffing needs for entry level coordinator/management positions. This includes sourcing, identifying, screening, evaluating, interviewing, qualifying, and referring top candidates to hiring managers for open positions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Completes full lifecycle recruiting processes to include developing and maintaining candidate pipelines, sourcing, and identifying candidates, phone screening, qualifying candidates against defined criteria, employment background, and other skills, referring qualified candidates to hiring managers, and continued candidate and hiring manager correspondence.

  • Conducts Intake meetings with hiring managers to identify the needs and posts jobs.

  • Sources and effectively recruits active and passive candidates through Internet research/social media, AI tools, internal database, advertising, cold calling, referrals, networking, user groups, diversity organizations, and other strategies.

  • Manages applicants in candidate database from initial application through final disposition. Screens, ranks, and manages applicants for current and future open positions and sends turn down letters as needed.

  • Interviews and qualifies candidates and forward top candidates to hiring manager with recruiter generated candidate summary.

  • Provides on-going guidance and support to hiring managers as requested to the complete recruitment process. Facilitates the generation of offer letters.

  • Conducts consistent and on-going follow up with candidates, creating “high touch” feel of interest for potential placement in future openings.

  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of recruiting experience.

  • Prior experience with applicant tracking systems, on-line Recruiting tools, and technologies (Workday).

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of applicants and employees of the organization.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Internet research skills and understanding social networking. Familiarity with new AI Recruiting tools.

The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):

$55,386.90 - $80,005.35 per year

The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus. We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive salary within the market.
