Torch Technologies is seeking a TARCES Technical Writer to join our team supporting the Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES) that are part of commercial and militarized vehicles, small and large crafts, transit cases, mobile communications, fixed base stations, command centers, and intelligence systems. The TARCES contract is managed by Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF).
As a TARCES Technical Writer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Develop and write technical documentation, including equipment manuals, appendices, and operating and maintenance instructions.
Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly written materials.
Assist with document layout and formatting to ensure clarity and consistency.
Review and update technical content to reflect system or procedural changes.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
Hiring at multiple levels:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field with 3+ years of related experience
Or Associate degree in business or a related field with 7+ years of related experience
Or High School diploma with 9+ years of related experience
Active Secret/clearance is required
Schedule: M-F; 8-5
Work Location: Onsite, PAX River, Maryland
Travel: 0-10%

Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract: No
Salary Range: $67,000-$121,000 (Hiring at multiple levels)
The salary range information is a general guideline only. Several factors can influence the salary for a position including but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, geographic location, business considerations, scope and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
