The ideal candidate will have the capability to manage a small book of clients, review high level complexity returns and also prepare high complexity returns for individuals and some businesses. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Requirements: 5+ years public accounting experience in the area of individual and business taxation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Tax return review and preparation (individuals and businesses).• Project Management
• Tax Planning focusing on clients’ tax savings and ongoing tax opportunities
• Researching complex tax issues and developing resolutions.
• Data analytics and skillful problem-solving.
• Supervising staff of 2-4 people.
• Client communications and Coordination with their other advisors.
Position requirements:• Bachelor of Accounting required.
• Master’s in taxation is a plus.
• CPA or EA preferred.
• Prior experience managing engagements and clients
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to work independently, but also work well with others.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong technology skills (the firm relies heavily on technology because the office is paperless –
Word, Excel, QuickBooks (online and desktop), Adobe pro, CFS payroll, BNA)
• Prior experience with ProFx or Access Tax is preferred.
Salary commensurate with experience, but range is $95,000 to $125,000Similar Jobs
