Experience Summary
- Extensive experience with Teamcenter Unified/Engineering, managing client-server architecture in 2-tier and 4-tier environments.
- Expertise in PLM system installation, maintenance, and architecture development.
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter upgrades, performance tuning, and ITAR security compliance.
- Skilled in DevOps pipelines, automation scripting (Perl, Python, Batch), and Siemens Deployment Center.
- Coordination with development, database, hardware, and network teams to ensure system stability.
- Vendor engagement and collaboration for streamlined operations.
- US Citizenship required for ITAR access compliance.
Technical Responsibilities
- System Administration: Installing, configuring, and maintaining Teamcenter servers, including Active Workspace, BMIDE, and other components.
- User Management: Administering accounts, permissions, and security settings within Teamcenter.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Resolving workflow, data integrity, and system performance issues.
- Upgrades & Patching: Managing Teamcenter maintenance, patches, and new feature deployments.
- Integration & Automation: Connecting Teamcenter with ERP systems and scripting automation tasks.
- Documentation & Training: Maintaining technical documentation and conducting user training.
- Collaboration & Communication: Working with cross-functional PLM teams, vendors, and end-users.
Technical Skills Required
- Teamcenter Administration: Deep knowledge of architecture, configuration, and administration.
- PLM Processes: Expertise in configuration management, change management, and data lifecycle.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript for task automation.
- System Integration: Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD software, ERP, and PLM tools.
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills for user interactions and process documentation.
- Analytical mindset to optimize system performance and identify trends.
- Problem-solving abilities to tackle complex Teamcenter issues.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving PLM environments.
