Job Summary: As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's strategic goals. Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Lead a team of software engineers in designing and implementing scalable and robust software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize tasks.
- Plan and estimate project timelines and resources.
- Track and report progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to mitigate them.
Team Development:
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Coach and mentor team members, helping them develop their technical skills and advance their careers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software development.
- Actively participate in technical discussions and decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolutions.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings, brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions.
- Advocate for technical excellence and quality within the team and across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience (X years) as a software engineer with in-depth knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Demonstrated experience (X years) in a technical leadership role, managing a team of software engineers.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and best practices.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Scrum Master certification).
