Primary point of contact for the trencher crew.
Continuously monitor and assess the performance of personnel and equipment.
Identify and implement all Cable Burial team training requirements as appropriate
Stimulate a cooperative and healthy working atmosphere on board.
Liaise with OIM, Field Engineer(s), Shift Supervisors, Operators, Survey, Chief Engineer, Trenching Rock and Landfall Engineering Department and Trenching Experts in relation the CBT and associated procedures for that, or any other project specific burial equipment to fulfil the scope of work
Understand the contractual requirements in relation the Cable Burial Operations
Understand the project scope of work for the Cable Burial and review all project specific Cable Burial documentation.
Responsible for the correct operation and maintenance of the CBT, both off and on shore, including spare and consumable management.
Responsible for all aspects of the Cable Burial operations,
Responsible for the training of the CBT Operators and Shift Supervisors,
Key person in the optimization of the burial process,
Key person in the improvement program of the CBT.
