Manages large programs or portions of very complex programs. Leads and coordinates the work activities of cross-functional teams, including Software, Supply Chain, Business, Quality, Regulatory, etc. Needs to be able to oversee the development of the complete project plan. Runs or participates in weekly and monthly status meetings and reviews. Issues status reports that include program status, milestones achieved, and upcoming tasks. Must be able to utilize PM tools (e.g., schedule, change, risk, action) to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for issues related to assigned project(s). Motivates the project team to ensure optimal performance. Primary responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, dependencies and risks across multiple teams and locations.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
Develop and manage program schedules to support the organization's strategic direction; identify when plans are outside acceptable bounds and adjust as needed.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing.
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Ensure dependencies are clearly articulated to/from external teams and commitments are documented and communicated to all impacted.
Conduct project team meetings; clearly and accurately report program status to multiple levels of management; escalate needs outside the program team’s ability to resolve.
Work with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and assess program risks. Establish and track risk mitigation plans. Drive for closures.
Work with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
Work with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding program issues and decisions.
Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.
Be in the office three days a week.
Additional Qualified Skills:
Experience launching end-to-end software programs.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive) and Microsoft Excel, MS Project.
PMP, CSM, or other project management certification preferred.
Proven Agile project management experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build cross-functional relationships.
Proven leadership and stakeholder influence skills; ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Strong change management expertise.
Results-oriented, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Passion for learning. Preferred engineering background.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of combined experience in IT, software development, or project/program management.
