Join Teledyne Aerospace Electronics in a high-impact role where you’ll directly drive growth across North America. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will sit at the intersection of customer needs, technical solutioning, and commercial execution—owning complex sales cycles that translate into measurable business results. This is a hands-on, quota-carrying position for someone who thrives in structured, data-driven environments and is equally comfortable discussing avionics systems as they are negotiating contracts.

What you’ll do

  • Build and execute account plans focused on expansion and retention
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities from qualification to close
  • Translate operational challenges into clear technical and commercial solutions
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to shape customer-driven offerings
  • Maintain an accurate, data-driven pipeline and forecast in Salesforce
  • Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and support contract negotiations
  • Build credibility with technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, program, and customer teams
  • Represent Teledyne at industry events and customer-facing engagements

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree highly desired.
  • 7+ years’ of aerospace/aviation sales experience
  • Proven experience selling to airlines, business aviation operators, MROs, OEMs, or government aviation organizations
  • Experience with avionics, aircraft systems, connectivity solutions, or aviation software products
  • Established relationships with airline engineering, maintenance, and operations teams
  • Strong technical sales acumen and ability to communicate complex concepts
  • Proven ability to manage and close complex, long-cycle deals
  • Structured, data-driven approach to pipeline and opportunity management
  • Willingness to travel (~50%) and strong personal accountability – required

What we offer

You’ll join a technically respected organization with a strong reputation in aerospace electronics and data solutions. Expect a collaborative environment, exposure to cutting-edge aviation technologies, and the autonomy to own your region and results. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence growth while building a strong internal reputation for excellence.
