Scope of Position

This is a unique opportunity to join an established industry leader while working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Reporting directly to the National Business Development Manager, this role plays a key part in driving growth for Watts Digital by supporting the expansion of Nexa solutions.

The Territory Sales Manager will help shape sales strategy, build customer relationships, and expand market presence within the assigned territory.

This position has no direct reports and is a remote role based in the State of Texas.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by selling IoT-enabled water management solutions, including hardware and SaaS offerings.
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and revenue expansion.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities with commercial real estate owners, operators, developers, property managers, and engineering firms.
  • Conduct customer discovery meetings to understand business challenges and align Nexa solutions to customer needs.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals that clearly communicate business value and ROI.
  • Build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including channel partners, consultants, contractors, and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Project Management, and Sales leadership to support solution design, project scoping, and successful customer deployments.
  • Manage and maintain accurate pipeline, customer activity, and forecasting data within CRM systems.
  • Support a best-in-class customer experience from initial engagement through deployment and post-sale handoff.
  • Contribute ideas, insights, and feedback to support the growth of Watts Digital Solutions.
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by [insert title of manager’s position] or Company management.
  • Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)
  • Travel Requirements: Minimum of 50% Travel within assigned territory.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience selling into commercial real estate (office, multifamily, hospitality, or related industries).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both virtual and in person.
  • Proven ability to generate opportunities, manage a sales pipeline, and drive deals forward.
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, from facility teams to executive leadership.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including [insert checks], and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS, IoT, PropTech, building technology, or mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate ownership structures and property management organizations.
  • Spanish and English language proficiency.

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment. You may be required to occasionally travel to and work in the office at a location for meetings, trainings, or as otherwise required by Company management.
