The Production Test Development Engineer will develop HW/SW test solutions for RF Mobile Network products, ensuring manufacturing capability and improving test performance.
We are looking for a Production Test Development Engineer to join our team.
The individual will be a part of the New Product & Technologies Test Engineering team that works with the multiple R&D, Software, Supply Chain, and Services teams to establish the manufacturing capability of our next generation products. We are looking for an energetic self-driven individual that likes to work across regions and interface with internal and external teams to develop a Test Solution for our future products.
As part of the Team, you will:
- Develop the Production SW & HW solutions for testing RF Mobile Network products.
- Develop the SW Application and HW Test solution used in the Manufacturing Production facilities.
- Test solution for the product that includes the interaction with the Test Fixtures, Test Equipment, and Test Application SW.
- Develop & support the test fixture HW, test Application SW, and provide DFT (Design for Test) feedback during the product design, which may also include evaluation and recommendations for new design implementation requirements.
- Activities may also extend from NPI (new product induction) to the final manufacturing/production site.
- Duties may also include monitoring and analyzing test performance for improving or resolving tester design issues seen during prototype builds.
- Create and maintain tester documentation and test plans will be required in preparation for moving from the project phase to volume Production.
You have:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- At least 4 years’ experience as a Test Engineer or experience in working with both Product Hardware and Software development. Experience with PA, RF or Digital Telecommunication hardware a plus
- Proficient working knowledge & experience of PA, RF, and Digital Test Equipment and Test methodologies.
- Ability to work with multiple teams, including R&D, Mfg Operations, and External factory interfaces.
- Proven Experience in SW application development may include C++, C#
- Spoken and written fluency in the English language.
