The Title Business Systems Manager serves as the operational and technological backbone of the Title Services business unit, bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end projects, optimizing internal processes, and identifying opportunities where technology — including AI and automation tools — can drive meaningful efficiency and improve the customer experience. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading cross-functional projects, supporting vendor platforms, and championing new technology to both technical and non-technical audiences. This person brings a project management mindset, a curiosity for emerging tools, and the communication skills to translate technology into practical business value for team members and title leadership alike.
This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home on Fridays.
Essential DutiesOperations & Technology Support
- Process Optimization: Evaluate and lead ongoing reviews of business technology and operational processes to promote and develop optimization strategies.
- System Maintenance: support existing and new vendor platforms, and actively update, implement, and maintain procedures. Provide backup admin support for Resware platform.
- All other duties as assigned.
Project Management
- End-to-End Management: Provide day-to-day management of Title Services projects, actively monitor performance, and ensure their timely completion.
- Scope & Deliverables: Create project plans based upon the desired scope from the business unit, define deliverables, and ensure a high-quality product.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work side-by-side with vendors’ project managers to communicate requirements and oversee the development of solutions.
Technology & Business Optimization
- Leverage AI & Automation: In collaboration with IT, identify and implement practical AI and automation tools that streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency across the business unit.
- Identify Opportunities: Continuously evaluate internal workflows and processes to pinpoint areas where technology and AI tools can improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, or enhance the customer experience.
- Champion Technology Adoption: Serve as an enthusiastic advocate for AI and technology tools within the business unit, helping non-technical team members and title leadership understand their practical value and feel confident using them.
- Support Business Growth Initiatives: Collaborate on technology efforts that support expanding business opportunities, including new partnerships and integrations.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Requirements Gathering: Understand the needs of multiple stakeholders, facilitate the development of requirements, and gather critical information from meetings to produce useful, actionable reports.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Effectively communicate results, insights, plans, and recommendations to cross-functional team members and management through presentations and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
Experience & Background
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or an IT-related field.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Title insurance or real estate experience is preferred, but not required.
- An AI background is highly preferred.
