Your Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuity of critical trading operations, prioritizing resolution of system issues with a sense of urgency
- Partner with technology and trading teams to continually evolve and deploy system architecture
- Develop automation tools for system orchestration and upkeep
- Support core market connectivity and correspond with exchanges regarding trade order activity, connectivity, and other related technical issues
- Monitor trading system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement lasting solutions
Your Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Integration, or a related role required
- 3+ years of hands-on professional experience with Linux operating systems, network configuration, and server management required
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including network routing protocols, TCP/UDP, multicast, network offload, and kernel bypass technology required
- Proficiency in Python and Bash required
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL technology preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technology preferred
- Experience with installing and configuring FPGA systems in a Linux environment preferred
- Self-driven and curious, with the ability to solve problems uniquely specific to our trading setup and learn on the job
