The Role

As a Senior Integration & Workflow Engineer, you’ll provide specialist engineering services focused on designing and developing custom integration and workflow-orchestration components connecting capital markets platforms, blockchain infrastructure and market infrastructure.

Design and develop custom integration and workflow-orchestration components connecting capital markets entity’s platforms, Blockchain infrastructure and market infrastructure. The scope includes delivering resilient, secure and auditable services supporting pre-trade validation, transaction orchestration, settlement processing and downstream system integration.. 

What You’ll Do


  • Design and develop custom middleware and workflow-orchestration services
  • Build REST/API-based integrations with internal and third-party platforms
  • Implement transaction and workflow state management, including multi-step processing across systems
  • Develop orchestration logic for Pre-Trade Gateway, DvP/settlement and downstream integration flows
  • Implement validation, routing, reservation/earmark and transaction-processing logic
  • Develop adapters and integration services for external platforms and market-infrastructure systems
  • Implement idempotency, retry, queueing, replay and recovery patterns for resilient transaction processing
  • Implement asynchronous/event-driven processing where required by detailed architecture
  • Build robust exception handling, error classification and operational status management
  • Implement audit logging, monitoring and traceability across end-to-end workflows
  • Develop data mappings, transformation and canonical integration models
  • Support authentication, authorization, API security and enterprise security requirements
  • Develop automated unit/component tests and support SIT/E2E testing
  • Troubleshoot complex cross-system integration and production issues
  • Support CI/CD, deployment, configuration and production-readiness activities
  • Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer/handover
  • Develop and maintain FIX 4.4 message flows and routing logic connecting the existing exchange environment with the DLT/tokenized order flow
  • Implement FIX message mapping, validation, routing, acknowledgements, execution reports, rejects and error handling for tokenized order flows

What We’re Looking For


  • Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise integration / middleware applications
  • Strong hands-on experience with FIX 4.4, including message structures, tags, session management, routing, order lifecycle messages and execution reporting
  • Experience integrating FIX 4.4-based exchange order flows with API/middleware-based downstream systems, including DLT or other non-traditional market infrastructure.
  • Strong development experience in Java / Spring Boot, .NET/C#, Node.js/TypeScript or comparable enterprise technology stack
  • Strong FIX 4.4, REST API and service-integration experience
  • Experience implementing workflow/orchestration or transaction-processing applications
  • Experience with asynchronous processing, messaging and event-driven patterns such as Kafka, MQ or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of distributed-system patterns including idempotency, re-tries, timeouts, circuit breakers, concurrency and failure recovery
  • Experience with relational databases and persistent transaction/state management
  • Experience integrating with third-party/vendor APIs
  • Experience with secure enterprise application development, authentication/authorization and audit logging
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing and modern deployment practices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed applications and interfaces


Domain & Industry Experience

  • Financial services integration experience, particularly capital markets, payments, trading or settlement
  • Experience with financial-market messaging standards
  • Experience developing transaction orchestration in regulated/high-availability environments
  • Exposure to blockchain/DLT, digital assets, smart assets or custody platforms is preferred
