The Role
Cedar is seeking a Training & Content Operations Lead to design, develop and maintain client enablement materials across Cedar's product suite, and to deliver high-impact end user training during Cedar's implementations.
In this role, you will work closely with Cedar’s Delivery and Product teams to ensure our training program reflects our client needs and product suite. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the Cedar training experience for our clients - tailoring content, delivery methods, and messaging to maximize client enablement and success.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop & maintain client-facing enablement materials across Cedar’s product portfolio, including product manuals, workflow guides, knowledge center articles, software simulations & other assets tailored to client needs.
- Research new product functionality & operational workflows by attending product development meetings, reviewing technical documentation, interviewing subject matter experts & independently synthesizing information to develop client-facing content.
- Own and maintain assigned client enablement packages across their lifecycle, determining the appropriate learning modalities, coordinating stakeholder review, managing publication & enhancing content as products evolve.
- Facilitate live end user training sessions & Train-the-Trainer programs during implementation, adapting to client configurations, operational workflows & audience needs.
- Develop deep expertise across Cedar’s products, configurations & operational workflows, identifying & representing cross-product dependencies.
- Review implementation feedback, post-live support trends and changes in product strategy to identify gaps in existing documentation & proactively enhance learning materials to improve client adoption.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Delivery, and Commercial Strategy teams to support pre-release readiness and build cross-departmental expertise of Cedar’s products.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, instructional content, training materials, and/or end user education programs in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- At least one of the following strongly preferred: experience working with large healthcare systems, experience with healthcare data, revenue cycle management and/or other equivalent EMR/EHR expertise.
- Experience creating content across multiple learning modalities, such as workflow guides, product manuals, eLearning modules, software simulations, facilitator guides, etc.
- Experience delivering engaging, interactive client training for diverse learner audiences via web conferencing platforms.
- Familiar with standard style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago) and skilled at applying brand guidelines to content creation. Familiar with Adobe Captivate or similar for software simulations strongly preferred.
- Thoughtful in using AI and other emerging technologies in day-to-day work to accelerate analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, and execution while maintaining strong judgment and accuracy.
- Proven success forming trusted, strategic relationships with cross-functional peers and client stakeholders, from frontline users to executives.
- Self-directed with strong project management and prioritization skills; able to manage concurrent deadlines and multiple stakeholders independently.
- Intellectual curiosity and continuous drive to improve processes, content, and learner outcomes.
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $119,000 - $140,000
- This role is also equity eligible
