DNV is seeking a motivated and results-driven Training Sales & Business Development professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and selling our suite of training programs to corporate and individual clients. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by connecting customers with learning solutions that meet their specific needs.


This position can be remote from anywhere in the Continental U.S.  


 What You'll Do

  • Drive growth of public and private training sales across North America.
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and existing client relationships.
  • Identify client training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and close sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with trainers, operations, marketing, and certification sales teams to maximize opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support business growth.

For California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland: “DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the states of California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland only, the starting pay range for this role is $65,000 - $76,000 annual.

Qualifications

What Is Required: 

  • High School Diploma 
  •  Minimum of three (3) years of experience selling professional services, training, consulting, certification, or related solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills including presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% per year, primarily to trade shows and conferences including U.S.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

What is Preferred

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field.
