In this role, you will:
- Data Collection & Preparation:
- Gather and organize data from internal and external sources to support branch strategy decisions in SQL and excel.
- Clean, validate, and manipulate large datasets
- Analytical Support:
- Conduct basic analyses to support the business case for critical real estate decisions (i.e. Denovos, Consolidations)
- Summarize findings in clear, concise formats for review by senior analysts and leadership
- Ability to extract key insights from data and visualize via charts
- Conduct Financial Valuations
- Demonstrate the ability to understand key drivers of bank profitability
- Ability to work with and develop simple financial valuation models & frameworks
- Presentation & Documentation:
- Create PowerPoint slides and charts for executive and stakeholder review
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate data workflows and improve the efficiency of recurring tasks
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with GIS Analysts, Data Analysts, Strategy Leads, Business Execution Consultants, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project components
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and planning sessions
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Advanced proficiency with manipulating large data sets with SQL
- Advanced proficiency with building PowerPoint slides, analysis in excel, and extracting/sharing insights by creating intuitive and concise charts
- Familiarity with Tableau and PowerBI
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format
- Familiarity with business case development for physical locations
- Knowledge of the banking industry and key drivers of profitability
- Experience with market segmentation, market strategy, geospatial analytics
- Previous experience in banking, consulting, or a strategy & analytics role
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
