Ameresco currently has a new opportunity for a Quality Control Manager located in Great Lakes Area in support of the construction and successful implementation of Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) projects. This position requires 75+% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with onsite Project Managers who function in a triple hat environment, responsible for their sites’ PM, Safety and QC.

  • Travel between all fourteen (14) project sites to evaluate and assist with localized project QC plan.

  • Read and understand specifications, reference codes and standards.

  • Review and interpret contract drawings.

  • Review provisions that have been made to provide required control inspection and testing.

  • Prepare quality control plan for each project assigned.

  • Initial setup and management of QCS/RMS functions.

  • Assist as needed with efficient management of project submittals.

  • Spot check to assure all materials and or equipment have been submitted and approved.

  • Consistent with all required inspections, have a proactive rather than reactive approach to all aspects of quality control.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School, GED, technical training school.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial quality control manager experience.

  • Ability to review confidential US security information.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Active US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors certificate preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.

  • Knowledge of Procore and Kahua.

  • Skillful communicator in both verbal and written communication.

  • Excellent writing skills with proper grammar.

  • A great listener who can communicate professionally and in an open and positive approach.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $92,000–$134,000 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role. Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements. We disclose salary ranges and benefits in all required external and internal postings and will provide further details upon request at any stage of the hiring process.
