Job Title: Used Car Director
Location: Berman Auto Group
Pay Range: $200,000-$225,000/annually
The Used Car Director will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the Used Car operations across four dealership locations within the Berman Group. This strategic position requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record in automotive sales, inventory management, and team development. The UC Director will be responsible for driving sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the used car division while ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations across all locations.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize the performance of the used car departments in alignment with company objectives.
- Implement effective inventory management practices to ensure adequate stock levels, proper merchandising, and pricing strategies that maximize profitability and inventory turn rates.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth and develop actionable plans accordingly.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure reliable sources of pre-owned vehicles and negotiate favorable terms for the acquisition of inventory.
- Monitor KPIs, financial metrics, and operational efficiency to evaluate departmental performance and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales managers, sales consultants, and support staff across multiple locations to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Uphold the Berman reputation for integrity, transparency, and professionalism in all interactions with customers, employees, and business partners.
- Experience in Sales, U/C + N/C Sales Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales Management, with a focus on Used Car Operations.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving performance in a multi-location environment.
- Excellent understanding of business operations and analytical capabilities, enabling the interpretation of data to make well-informed decisions in pursuit of desired results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
