Supervise and coach field sales teams to meet FPS package sales targets, train new hires, manage schedules and marketing materials, coordinate with marketing leadership, maintain policies, handle partner and customer issues, and support hiring and performance management to achieve area sales forecasts.
As a Vacation Sales Ambassador Supervisor, you are responsible for carrying out your position’s responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Assist with marketing projects and initiatives as needed.
- Complete Ride-alongs when needed, complete documentation, and discuss with FPS Manager.
- Pro-actively assists in training of new hires on site to assist department.
- Create and implement effective FPS package sales strategies and support the area based sales teams toward achievement of area sales objectives.
- Work directly with Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager to create and implement effective POS package sales strategies.
- Work with Marketing Manager to ensure production based shift allocation for scheduling.
- Works with Marketing Manager to create and coordinate on-going training and fulfills role of Marketing Manager in their absence.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures and maintained and upheld by all team members.
- Ensure timely processing of schedule for team on a weekly basis.
- Works shifts if necessary to ensure ample site coverage to maximize production.
- Respond to team members inquiries regarding payroll, spiffs, and policy/procedure concerns.
- Assist in any customer service relation issues pertaining to the selling of FPS packages.
Help manager meet and achieve budgetary FPS package production targets.
- Ensure new hires are trained and set up for success.
- Provide coaching to team members to enhance their production.
- Visit locations and ensure all marketing materials are sufficiently stocked for the team.
- Maintain all department processes for effective package production to ensure team members are following policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing area sales results to goals and ensuring performance management when necessary.
- Assist with hiring, training, development, and retention of sales representatives.
- Provide area supervision of area sales reps through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals.
- Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual area sales forecasts.
- Manage hotel partner relationships.
- Collaborate, coordinate and implement arrival/departure contact strategies with Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing.
- Manage Hotel Partnerships with collaboration and guest services issues.
- Create and foster a motivated team environment in the field.
- Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.
