Validation Test Engineer

Lab Operations & Scheduling

• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute validation activities using lab resources and test equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and verification of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test data.
• Ensure compliance with internal protocols and industry standards.
• Design and build new test fixtures and/or machines to support validation testing.
• Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to lab technicians.

Technical Execution and Troubleshooting

• Provide hands-on support for laboratory test equipment and measurement systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret test results and refine procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, test anomalies, and data inconsistencies.
• Apply root cause analysis techniques to improve test accuracy and repeatability.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Develop and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and protocols.
• Identify opportunities and implement strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Support audits and ensure the lab is following regulatory standards.

Health and Safety

• Promote safe working environment and comply with safety and health requirements.
• Complete required safety trainings and inspections.
• Report and correct any unsafe practices as appropriate.
