Role Responsibilities:
Work with SBU Leadership Teams to develop strategic business cases evaluating cost benefits trade-offs in manufacturing network design and distribution of product to end customer
Define and scope projects focused on wing-to-wing / value stream modality-focus to reduce total landed cost, lead time, inventory & improvement customer on-time delivery (OTD) / Customer Satisfaction.
Evaluate make/buy strategy and determine optimal manufacturing location for new product introduction and/or vertical integration.
Define / drive operating mechanism to ensure execution on projects/actions and tie results expected business outcomes
Partner with Sourcing on localization, lead time, order quantities, supplier stocking, & best cost country strategy
Develop strategic roadmap for manufacturing and make/buy strategies to ensure optimal global manufacturing footprint
Support, track and drive execution on Corporate Restructuring Projects
Communicate progress, status & issues for SBU and IGS GMs & business leaders

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or Engineering
A minimum of 8 years supply chain or related technical experience
Experience in Lean Leadership in plant or transactional environment
Proven ability to drive change in a matrix environment
Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change
Strong financial acumen
Someone with experience in program management and cross-functional leaders
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Desired Characteristics
MBA or Masters degree
Plant, BTL or Operations Manager experience
OMLP Graduate
Green Belt Certified with demonstrated process analytic and improvement skills or certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
APICS Certification
