General Summary:

The Vice President of Account Services serves as a senior analytics leader and strategic partner to clients and internal teams. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering data-driven insights, analytics frameworks, and strategic initiatives that support nonprofit fundraising performance across channels and donor audiences.


As a subject-matter expert, this role works directly with client stakeholders, internal account teams, and partner agencies to translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and action. The Vice President plays a critical role in guiding analytics strategy, prioritizing analytic initiatives, and ensuring insights are aligned to both short-erm performance goals and long-term donor value.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Client Strategy Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a senior analytics and strategy partner across client accounts, providing thought leadership and guidance on performance measurement, donor behavior, and optimization opportunities
  • Lead the development and evolution of dashboards, KPI frameworks and reporting that monitor omni-channel fundraising performance through a donor- and audience-centered lens
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze data, frame business questions, and develop relevant, influential insights that inform strategy and decision-making
  • Own the roadmap and prioritization of analytics initiatives, balancing client needs, strategic impact, and available resources.
  • Oversee and conduct complex analyses, ensuring findings are clearly summarized through high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations
  • Translate analytic findings into actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams
  • Support go-to-market strategy related to analytics offerings, including segmentation strategy, model usage, and the application of insights across fundraising programs.

 

  1. Leadership & Collaboration Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain trusted, consultative relationships with client leadership, internal partners, and external agencies
  • Work closely with analytics, data strategy, engineering, and BI teams to ensure analytic outputs are accurate, scalable, and aligned to client goals
  • Contribute to the development of value propositions and analytic narratives that support Data Axle Nonprofit products and solution suites
  • Mentor and support analysts and strategies, helping elevate analytical thinking, communication, and client impact.

 

  1. Analytic & Technical Responsibilities:
  • Develop deep expertise across Data Axle data assets and external data sources relevant to nonprofit fundraising
  • Lead and contribute to ad hoc analytic initiatives, including lifecycle analysis and strategic deep dives
  • Guide the design and enhancement of KPI frameworks and business trend reporting
  • Leverage data visualization tools to deliver clear, intuitive, and decision-ready insights to clients
  • Stay current on analytics trends, tools, and emerging best practices in nonprofit fundraising and data-driven marketing
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  1. Strong executive presence with the ability to build credibility and trust with senior stakeholders
  2. Proven consultative skills, including the ability to listen, identify core business challenges, and frame effective analytic approaches
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to think on one’s feet and respond confidently to questions
  4. Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and comfort evaluating trade-offs, feasibility and ROI
  5. Highly collaborative team player able to work effectively across functions and levels within the organization
  6. Self-directed, organized, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while staying aligned to broader objectives                                                                          

Education, Experience, and Certification: *

  1. 10+ years of experience in analytics, data-driven marketing, or related fields (database marketing, CRM, digital, or nonprofit analytics)
  2. Expertise with relationship databases, reporting, and analytic frameworks
  3. Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising and donor behavior
  4. Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau preferred
  5. Digital fundraising and omni-channel analytics experience a plus


Supportive Job Functions: *

  1. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

 

Scope of Job:

  1. No direct/indirect reports.
  2. Role requires regular collaboration across teams and frequent interaction with client stakeholders
  3. Work involves regular access to confidential and sensitive data and client information
  4. Travel as required
  5. Errors may have significant impact and require careful analysis and validation
