Reports to: SVP, Strategy

Your Mission:

Your mission is to conceptualize and execute on bold placemaking strategies that will transform workplaces into thriving hubs of connection, productivity, and longevity. Your work will transform every asset we operate into a vibrant and impactful ecosystem. You’ll establish program standards and curate experiences that integrate events, installations, partnerships, and activations — enriching the lives of tenants and the community, while meeting commercial objectives and KPIs. Your placemaking work will result in the spaces you touch becoming competitive and attractive because they look and feel different - and as a result, you will have redefined our category.

The Legacy You’ll Leave:

By the end of your tenure, you'll have reimagined the workplace through revolutionary placemaking services. Your work will have turned static spaces into dynamic, connected communities that drive revenue, amplify asset identity, and provide valuable insights for ongoing improvement.

You’ll have helped us make a quantum leap in the category. You’ll have turned industry defining concepts into reality and built the standards for standing-up and operating a cohesive programming strategy that connects a building to its tenants and the community in a deeper and more lasting way.

What You're Responsible For:

  • Strategy & Execution: Implement placemaking concepts that transform buildings into fully activated hubs, driving revenue and enhancing asset value. Conceive, source, and direct programming strategies and partnerships to bring food & beverage, health & wellness, fashion & design, and technology & cultural events into our spaces. Develop and scale program standards that create immersive, interactive environments for tenants and the community. Collaborate cross-functionally with our Sales, Design, and Operations teams to assess market fit, understand client needs, and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Program Innovation & Market Leadership: Redefine Tenant Experience by creating groundbreaking programs that drive measurable leasing and asset value impact. Explore new programming and services beyond traditional events, such as: Tenant In-Suite Services (Tailored experiences for HR, Office Managers, and C-Suite); Leasing Public Events (Industry-targeted activations); White Box Activation (Reservable pop-ups, immersive art, fashion shows); On-Site Wellness Services (Therapy, massage, acupuncture, nutritionists, IV drips); ESG Programming (Partnerships with tenant-affiliated nonprofits); Professional Development (Customized offerings based on tenant population); Exclusive Brand Partnerships (Curated experiences with highly recognizable brands).
  • Data-Driven Strategy & Scalability: Set clear metrics to measure your and your team’s impact on leasing, engagement, and asset value. Use analytics to adapt and optimize strategies tailored to demographics, market demands, and client goals. Develop repeatable, scalable processes for consistent, high-impact execution. Stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring your offerings remain innovative and market-leading.
  • Brand-Led Programming Strategy & Development: Build custom experience brands for each of our clients that integrate all five senses - and a critical sixth sense: how it makes you feel. Collaborate with internal and external Marketing partners to visually and verbally communicate the assets' essence brought to life by its unique programming strategy. You’ll work with two types of brands: brands we’ve inherited and brands we’ve helped curate. You’ll need to mold visuals to fully reflect the asset identity you’ve developed. Own the process of curating how the brand looks, speaks, thinks, and acts. Collaborate with our People and Operations teams to create a custom playbook for each brand that our team can be onboarded, trained, and performance managed from. Forge strategic partnerships with well-known brands to reinforce each asset’s brand identity.

Who You Are - Baseline Requirements:

  • You have 10+ years of experience in placemaking, experiential marketing, or consumer experience strategy.
  • Previous experience in the commercial real estate or hospitality amenity sector is a real plus but not required.
  • You are tech-savvy.  You are highly proficient in GSuite and can quickly learn multiple operating platforms, apps, survey platforms, marketing template platforms, invoicing systems, etc. And we hope you bring with you ideas for what software and tools we should be using based on your experience.

Who You Are - Key Competencies:

  • Results driven.  You have strategically moved the needle for past organizations by developing and implementing large-scale brand transformations, community driven programming and placemaking initiatives. You quickly see the big picture, understand the interconnectedness of decisions and activities, and can point to bottom line revenue and profit increases as a result of your work.
  • Brand savvy and commercially minded. You are a creative, strategic thinker who has proven you can get stuff done. You are a ‘writer, director, producer’ who will bring to life our brand promise - to turn office buildings into living organisms that are more attractive and competitive by setting the standard for enriched experience design and delivery.
  • Exceptional people leader. You have managed teams for at least 5-7 years and your direct reports would tell us you were one of the best leaders they’ve worked for.  You are skilled at providing timely and specific feedback to ensure your team members are always elevating their game.  Note: in this role, you’ll be managing a small team.
  • Builder of scalable processes. You have expertise in developing scalable, repeatable processes and service lines to do more with less.  You have delivered high-impact brand and placemaking solutions efficiently and effectively.
  • Analytical mindset.  You can share multiple examples with us of how you’ve used data to inform strategic decisions and optimize engagement in your previous roles.
  • Flexible and adaptable entrepreneur. You have already thrived in an ever changing work environment. You have constantly reprioritized your tasks based on changing demands, and maintained a level head and a deep hospitality ethos through frequent changes. You have examples that prove you are able to work well autonomously - but also collaboratively - and you have nipped problems in the bud before they occur because you can foresee client and tenant needs.
  • Stellar communicator.  You have demonstrated exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying goals and strategies to diverse teams, levels of the organization, and external stakeholders.

Our Core Values:

Lulafit’s culture is based on a shared respect for our lived values HERE.  Fit with our values is a critical component of our hiring process, and you and all of our colleagues are expected to live our core values in interactions with team members, customers, and stakeholders.  An assessment of how you have exhibited our values is also an important part of your performance review process.

Our Commitment To You:

Lulafit is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.  We know the more inclusive we are, the greater our impact will be!
