Morning Consult is seeking a visionary and hands-on Vice President of Revenue Operations to architect, build and scale our Revenue Operations function across both our professional services and SaaS businesses.

This is an opportunity for a true builder—someone energized by the challenge of bringing order, structure and operational excellence to complex, evolving environments. You will have the chance to design and implement best-in-class processes, systems and teams from the ground up, not just optimize what already exists.

We are especially interested in leaders who are passionate about the transformative potential of AI in business operations. You should be intellectually curious, eager to experiment with new technologies and excited to reimagine how AI can drive efficiency, insight and innovation across the revenue engine.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Leadership & Alignment: Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, translating company vision into actionable operational plans and KPIs.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product to ensure unified go-to-market execution.
  • Lead annual and quarterly GTM planning cycles, including capacity planning, territory design, quota setting, and incentive structures.
  • Develop and manage company-wide operational KPIs, ensuring visibility, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Operational Excellence & Technology: Architect and build scalable processes and systems to support both professional services and SaaS revenue models, with a focus on transforming ambiguity into operational clarity.
  • Take ownership of the business technology stack (Salesforce, CPQ, BI tools, and other SaaS platforms), driving integration, automation, and data governance.
  • Proactively seek out and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance forecasting, pipeline management, and operational efficiency—constantly exploring how emerging technologies can redefine best practices.
  • Ensure tools and processes are effectively leveraged by Sales, Marketing, and Finance to support growth objectives.
  • Data, Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain a data-driven operating model, providing actionable insights to drive executive decision-making.
  • Oversee revenue reporting, forecasting, and analytics, ensuring accuracy and alignment across teams.
  • Prepare and present business performance updates, operational insights, and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team and board of directors.
  • Go-to-Market & Revenue Optimization: Partner with Sales and Marketing to optimize lead flow, account segmentation, demand generation, and pipeline velocity.
  • Develop and execute sales-led pricing strategies and compensation frameworks that drive customer value and maximize revenue growth.
  • Identify and implement new technology solutions to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows, with a particular focus on leveraging AI to drive innovation.
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Revenue Operations team, fostering a culture of trust, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Shape a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative team culture that exemplifies Morning Consult’s values.
  • Make strategic talent decisions in partnership with the People Team, including hiring, development, and succession planning.
  • Continuous Improvement & Change Management: Champion operational excellence and continuous process improvement across the customer journey.
  • Proactively identify friction points and remove barriers to revenue growth.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to drive sales growth by clarifying and resolving critical issues and dependencies.

Who You Are

  • You are a builder at heart—energized by the opportunity to create structure and excellence from complexity or ambiguity. You have a proven track record of designing and implementing operational frameworks, systems, and teams from the ground up, not just optimizing what’s already in place.
  • You are passionate about the future of AI and its potential to transform business and revenue operations. You actively seek out new knowledge, enjoy experimenting with emerging technologies, and are excited to reimagine how AI can drive efficiency and innovation.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related functions, with significant leadership experience in high-growth SaaS and/or professional services environments.
  • Deep expertise in sales operations, revenue analytics, forecasting, compensation planning, and CRM (Salesforce) administration.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging data and technology (including AI and automation) to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing and developing people leaders and high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth, dynamic environments (e.g., startups, scale-ups) is highly desirable.

  • Note: We view the above section as a guide, not a checklist. Research shows that underrepresented/marginalized groups are less likely to apply for a job if they feel that they don’t meet 100% of the qualifications. We welcome diverse and non-traditional backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t satisfy every single bullet on this list! It’s expected that you’ll learn and grow throughout your time at Morning Consult, so if you’re open to building new skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Join Morning Consult?

  • Lead a mission-critical function at a fast-growing, innovative company.
  • Shape the future of revenue operations across both professional services and SaaS, with the freedom to build and innovate from the ground up.
  • Be at the forefront of AI-driven transformation in business operations, with the opportunity to experiment, learn, and set new industry standards.
  • Work with a talented, collaborative team and executive leadership.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits and opportunities for growth.
  • Flexible work arrangements and a culture that values continuous learning and development.

The expected salary range for this position is $225,000 - $275,000 with a midpoint of $250,000.

This role is eligible for an equity grant, which will be discussed in your initial recruiter conversation. Please see an overview of Morning Consult’s benefits on our Career Page.
