Department OverviewThe Global Marketing organization is a diverse team of strategic and results-driven marketers who act as a driving force for propelling business growth across the complete Motorola Solutions ecosystem. Our intern role offers exceptional experience in crafting visual stories through video, photography, and motion design. Scope of Responsibilities
We’re looking for an artist who can drive creative storytelling concepts through your passion for video and effective communication skills. Attention to detail is key and as a video editor, you will deliver impactful and compelling content with the utmost quality, aligning with our business needs and brand voice and style. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and work with agencies to bring your ideas to life. You will network with other teams and learn from our leaders. You will work on real brand initiatives to contribute to our business. As a member of our team, the work you do will matter every day.
Specific Knowledge and Skills
Be Creative
Turn ideas into visual storytelling, and creative executions.
Translate complex concepts into simple understandable stories with scripts and storyboards.
Have an understanding of composition, timing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics and social media to ensure visual and storytelling standards are met.
Take ownership of the process from initial concept to the final edit and approval of video assets to be used in digital campaigns and social media.
Be Collaborative
Collaborate and brainstorm with business partners to understand, identify and collect requirements to creatively execute visual ideas.
Work within established design guidelines and collaborate with team members to ensure consistency across designs. At the same time, explore new executions of the brand.
Inspire and bring new ideas to the team through creative thought leadership.
Provide solutions based on research and sharing of current trends that will elevate our videos.

Qualifications
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with a focus on Film, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or Digital Publication.
Currently third-year/junior status in undergraduate degree program on track to enter senior year/final year by summer 2025 preferred.
Understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro
Filming and production experience a plus.
Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs, 3D programs a plus.
Previous internship or professional experience preferred.
Note: Candidate must be in the Chicago office 3 days a week.
