About the Role
Eleven Media is looking for a creative Video Producer to develop original short-form and long-form videos for The Daily Net, managing each story from concept through publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end production of original short-form and long-form videos, from story identification and research through scripting, production, editing, and publication.
- Find compelling, original stories across animals, relationships, family, culture, community, and everyday life.
- Shape each story by identifying its strongest emotional angle, characters, interviews, and visual moments.
- Work with on-camera talent, editors, camera operators, and contributors to deliver each video.
- Coordinate online interviews and, where necessary, plan external shoots with the people and organizations involved.
- Communicate clearly and consistently across editorial, talent, production, and publishing teams to keep projects aligned and on schedule.
- Track social trends, viral stories, competitor content, and audience interests to identify new opportunities.
- Develop new video formats and creative storytelling approaches for The Daily Net.
- Verify third-party footage, secure the necessary rights and permissions, and ensure correct attribution.
- Review video performance and audience feedback, applying the findings to future content.
- Ensure every video reflects The Daily Net’s voice, tone, visual identity, and quality standards.
- Remain flexible for timely stories, including occasional weekend production when required.
What You Will Need
- Strong experience producing short-form and long-form digital videos.
- A proven ability to find compelling human-interest stories and turn them into engaging videos.
- Strong research, writing, script-editing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with on-camera talent, contributors and video editors.
- A strong understanding of emotional storytelling, visual structure, pacing, and audience retention.
- A clear understanding of social platforms, content packaging, audience trends, and performance analytics.
- Good knowledge of footage verification, content rights, permissions, and attribution.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Flexibility to support timely stories and occasional weekend production when required.
