Job Description:
This Experience Design executive will be responsible for leading our Digital Platform Design team to deliver an inspirational seamless customer experience across all digital touchpoints including web sites and apps. They will design intuitive experiences with reusable capabilities across Discover's product offerings. Specifically, this leader will: Define user experience strategy and design for all digital touchpoints across the customer journey; employ customer centered design processes to deliver innovative, relevant and seamless experiences for all Discover enterprise digital platforms (web sites, apps). Ensure all solutions meet enterprise brand standards, accessibility, performance, regulatory and compliance goals. Establish and lead COE for site design and UX.
Responsibilities:

• Lead teams that create, maintain, and continuously improve visual design and UX strategy experience for all enterprise digital platforms, specifically, the Mobile Apps and Web sites. Ensure a User Centered Design, and Mobile first approach and process in all solutions.
• Ensure a best-in-class customer experience by surfacing enhancements and work with product teams to ensure appropriate sizing and prioritization.
• Actively evangelize design best practices through industry trends and user research throughout the entire customer experience for all products. Create and ensure governance, guidelines, and standards.
• Lead an enterprise center of excellence for design that partners with internal and external agencies to ensure consistency in brand standards throughout the entire customer experience. Partner with BT and business partners to develop systems, processes and design languages that speed adoption of standards.
• Lead an enterprise center of excellence for digital usability research that promotes co-creation of solutions with our customers and ensures robust, iterative customer testing and feedback through all phases of development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Graphic Design, Engineering, Arts of Social Sciences.
• 15+ years of digital design and development, customer experience, and/or related experience.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• In lieu of education, 20+ years of experience in digital design and development, customer experience and/or related experience.
