About the Role
Attentive Mobile is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis that will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The VP will build and lead a team responsible for the company's long-range and annual financial planning, forecasting, management and Board reporting, as well as serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to the leadership team and the entire organization. They will be responsible for continuing to develop a best-in-class FP&A function, including processes, systems, and staff.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Oversee the long-range and annual financial planning processes in order to achieve the full potential of the business and maximize long-term value. This includes the development of driver-based financial and operating models, supporting systems, tools, and data sources
- Produce timely, accurate, and actionable analyses, reports, and forecasts. Highlight key performance indicators and drivers of change within the financial results. Review insights with management to enable appropriate business adjustments as needed and comfortable giving guidance to the street
- Manage and prioritize requests for resources and investments. Evaluate and recommend based on return on investment analysis. Track and review actual performance to ensure achievement of business case
- Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders across the organization to provide pragmatic financial insights and recommendations in order to drive bookings and revenue growth while scaling the business to increase operating leverage and cash flow
- Distill complex analyses into concise, actionable outputs and present to both external and internal stakeholders.
- Lead, build, and mentor the FP&A team by providing respected leadership, implementing best practices, and demonstrating Attentive's core values
- Oversee the data analytics function to ensure proper and accurate data is interpreted, analyzed, and presented to both external and internal parties in a clear and concise method
Your Expertise
- FP&A Expertise: FP&A leader with a demonstrated track record of success and career progression. Experience in operational modeling, technical knowledge of financial statements, driver-based modeling, and reporting techniques. The ability to analyze, problem-solve, and make decisions around Enterprise SaaS models and perpetual business models
- Desired Industry Experience: Experience within a successful high-growth SaaS/Enterprise Software company. An understanding of marketing software in a SaaS model is preferred
- Finance Experience at Scale: FP&A leadership experience or relevant financial leadership experience within a successful and growing $200M+ company. Public Market / IPO Readiness: Public Market experience and/or experience helping guide a company through the initial public offering process or public market readiness
- High-Growth Experience: Experience and/or ability to work in a high growth and fast-paced environment; building and implementing scalable financial processes and forecasts
- Financial and Operational Excellence: A strong operational finance grounding to ensure financial and operational excellence; a demonstrable track record of having built, installed and continuously improved systems and teams that support a high-growth, scalable, an accurate finance capability that enables the business’ success
- Strong Communicator & Presenter: Excels in written and visual communication and messaging. Ability to comfortably present complex concepts, strategies and projections to external investors, analysts, bankers, as well as internal stakeholders. Ability to simplify complex models and analysis for executive/external communication
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think about implications of strategic choices and their impact on our business and financial model

US based applicants:
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $290,000 - $345,000 annually + equity + benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
