We are seeking an accomplished, strategic, and inspiring Vice President of Global Sales to lead the $1.5B+ Electronics Business Segment of our global manufacturing organization. This is a high-impact leadership role for a results-driven executive who thrives on shaping strategy, growing markets, and building inclusive, high-performing teams on a global scale.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in selling to OEMs, a track record of success in global markets – including direct experience selling into or living and working in Asian markets - and a collaborative leadership style that engages cross-functional teams to drive transformation and sustainable growth.

About the Job - Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate and execute dynamic sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Achieving Revenue Goals: Steer the global sales organization to consistently exceed revenue and profitability benchmarks across all regions.  Experience of having sold a large (e.g. $1Bn plus) Multiple technology portfolio is strongly preferred.

  • Industry Influence: Cultivate a commanding presence in the electronics sector through high-level engagement with OEMs and Manufacturer Representatives.

  • Sales Team Leadership: Build, develop, and motivate a high-performing, global sales team, empowering members to excel.

  • Channel Optimization: Leverage relationships with OEMs, distribution networks, and Manufacturer Representatives to maximize sales effectiveness and foster long-term partnerships.

  • Forecasting and Analytics: Monitor sales data, industry trends, and market developments to produce precise forecasts and actionable insights for strategic decisions.

  • Customer Relations: Establish strong customer connections, ensuring satisfaction through understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with an extended Sales team of Business Development Managers (aligned with specific BUs) as well as Product Management, Business Development Managers, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to drive seamless execution of sales strategies and market launches.

  • Industry and Technology Trends: Influence Business Development initiatives to stay ahead of emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, and evolving market demands.

About you - Qualifications and Expertise

  • Proven Sales Leadership: A minimum of 15 years in senior sales roles, including at least 10 years leading sales teams—experience as a VP of Sales strongly preferred.

  • Global Sales Proficiency: Demonstrated success in navigating complex international markets and cultures to drive performance globally.  Preference is given to having lived, or extensively worked, in Asia for a few years.

  • Channel Savvy: Expertise in OEM and understanding of Distribution sales, cultivating partnerships and optimizing channels effectively.

  • Results-Oriented and agile: Consistently deliver exceptional revenue growth while adapting to market change and leading through complexity.

  • Strategic Leadership: Innovative thinker with the ability to penetrate new markets, scale operations, and inspire teams toward shared objectives.

  • Financial Acumen:  Strong grasp of P&L dynamics, leveraging insights to maximize profitability, operational efficiency and meet business performance metrics.

  • Superior Communication: Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels internally or externally.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a significant advantage.

Salary Range:

$257,000 - $320,000
