The Vice President of Marketing Services is a strategic leader within Vizient’s Revenue Operations organization, responsible for architecting and enabling a modern, insight-driven marketing engine. This role oversees the systems, processes, data infrastructure, campaign execution, and automation technologies that power marketing performance at scale. This leader ensures that Vizient’s marketing engine is not only fit-for-purpose and data-informed, but also fully integrated into the broader revenue engine and aligned to business objectives. The VP partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Analytics, Sales and IT to drive scalable growth, client engagement, and GTM alignment.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Team Development 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of directors, managers, and specialists across marketing ops, automation, web solutions, campaign execution, and AI workflow design 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation, and measurable impact 
  • Translate business strategy into operational roadmaps and technical capability development. 

Marketing Technology and Automation 

  • Own the marketing technology stack and roadmap, including platforms such as: Salesforce, Marketo, 6sense, Seismic, ChatGPT Enterprise, and Writer. 
  • Ensure systems are integrated, secure, and aligned with data governance and enterprise architecture standards. 
  •  Drive intelligent workflow design in partnership with AI Enablement and Automation teams to improve speed, targeting, and content delivery. 

Campaign and Omnichannel Execution 

  • Ensure operational readiness and technical support for omnichannel campaigns across web, email, digital ads, and events 
  • Develop standard operating procedures and frameworks to enable agility and repeatability 
  • Collaborate with content, creative, and BU marketing teams to optimize execution 

AI-Driven Workflow and Process Innovation 

  • Partner with the Sr. Director of AI Enablement & Strategy and Director of Workflow Intelligence & Automation to embed generative AI and intelligent automation into operational processes 
  • Drive innovation through pilots, prompt libraries, and agent development 

Revenue Marketing and Attribution Alignment 

  • Support pipeline planning, MQA implementation, and marketing-sales alignment 
  • Integrate marketing performance metrics into forecasting and RevOps dashboards 
  • Improve pipeline visibility and campaign attribution models in coordination with analytics 

Strategic Planning and Budget Ownership 

  • Define annual goals and operating plans for marketing technology and operations 
  • Manage budget across platforms, vendors, and resourcing to maximize ROI 
  • Identify capability gaps and investment priorities across people, process, and tech 

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $187,800.00 to $348,300.00.
