About the Role

As VP, Operations, you will set the vision and strategy for mission-critical operations across the firm. You will oversee the design and execution of resilient operational infrastructure, ensure the reliability of real-time data systems, and lead a high-performing team. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution, with the ability to both architect long-term operational excellence and respond swiftly to real-time challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the company’s operations strategy, ensuring resilience, scalability, and continuous improvement across Technology Operations, Data Operations, and Customer Support.
  • Infrastructure & TechOps Excellence: Lead the development of robust monitoring, alerting, and incident management systems to ensure reliability and scalability of mission-critical technology operations.
  • Operational Governance: Establish KPIs, escalation frameworks, and SOPs for mission-critical operations, including both technical and customer-facing functions.
  • Incident Command: Oversee incident management protocols, ensuring rapid recovery, clear communication, and post-mortem learning.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with executive leadership, engineering, and product teams to align operations with business priorities and technical requirements.
  • Team Building: Recruit, develop, and mentor a world-class operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years in operations, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading mission-critical operations in fast-paced, high-availability environments.
  • Expertise in technology operations, real-time monitoring, and incident management.
  • Strong technical foundation in cloud environments and monitoring/incident management tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, PagerDuty, etc.).
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at the executive level.
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and scaling operational capabilities in growth-focused organizations.
