Chartbeat Inc. is the parent company of Chartbeat, Tubular Labs, FatTail, and Lineup Systems. Together, we’re shaping the future of media strategy and revenue. Trusted by the world's top media brands, Chartbeat, Inc. combines analytics that power smarter audience strategies with revenue solutions that simplify ad operations and accelerate monetization.

Our mission is to help customers grow valuable media brands with their content. Join our diverse group of focused, hardworking professionals who are passionate about doing work that’s challenging and fun — and who strive to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

About the Role

Lineup and FatTail are the leading Order Management Systems (OMS) for media companies, and this role will own product vision and strategy across both. It's a high-touch, customer-facing product leadership role: you'll build close, lasting relationships with the customers and prospects who rely on our platforms, and turn what you learn from those relationships into a roadmap that drives real growth.

We're looking for a VP of Product with a genuine commercial mindset — someone who is energized by being in front of customers and prospects, not just building for them at a distance. You will be the primary product voice representing our vision and roadmap to the market: presenting directly to prospects and clients, building trust with the people who buy and use our products, and channeling what you hear back into product decisions that grow the business. You will also lead and grow a team of product managers, building the strength and depth of the product organization as it scales.

You'll have a key voice in shaping the direction of Chartbeat's broader, unified platform vision — helping define how we integrate Chartbeat and Tubular's content and audience analytics with Lineup and FatTail's order management systems to deliver innovative solutions that help media companies grow their business.

Key Responsibilities

10+ years in product management, including 5+ years in a senior product leadership role (VP, SVP, or equivalent) in B2B SaaS focused on the Media or Ad Tech industry.

Direct Ad Tech experience is required, ideally with an OMS or adjacent systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager, ad servers, DMPs/CDPs, or similar sell-side ad tech).

A track record of delivering innovative, differentiated products, including AI-driven features or workflows — you know how to identify where AI creates real customer value versus where it's a distraction.

A track record of commercial involvement, including presenting roadmap and vision directly to prospects and customers, and being trusted as a credible voice in high-stakes customer conversations.

Experience in enterprise or upper-mid-market B2B settings, ideally within media, publishing, or adjacent verticals, where building close customer relationships is central to the business.

People leadership experience, having built, managed, and grown teams of product managers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and evolve a long-term OMS strategy and roadmap establishing a clear vision across our two OMS products that strengthens competitive differentiation, drives customer growth and retention, and deepens platform adoption.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly across customer commitments, competitive differentiation, and platform/data unification to ensure we’re making the right investments to move the business forward.
  • Collaborate with product leaders across the business to define and deliver a unified platform vision that strengthens all four brands together.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Serve as a primary product voice with prospects and clients — presenting vision and roadmap directly, and building close, lasting relationships with the people who buy and use our products.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to improve win rates, adoption, and renewals — bringing product perspective into customer conversations and helping remove product-related obstacles
  • Grow a strong network across media and publishing that expands our credibility and reach in the industry.
  • Turn customer and market insight into clear, credible product decisions, balancing near-term needs with long-term platform investment.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and grow a team of product managers and leaders, setting a high bar for product craft, commercial fluency, and customer engagement.
  • Partner with the executive leadership on org design, hiring, and development plans to strengthen the product team as it grows.
  • Coach PMs into strong functional leaders who own outcomes across product strategy, roadmap creation and execution, client-facing communication, vision storytelling, and commercial support.

Cross-Functional & Platform Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and commercial teams to translate strategy into delivered and adopted products.
  • Champion platform thinking that unlocks cross-sell and deepens customer value across Chartbeat, Tubular, Lineup, and FatTail.
  • Represent OMS product strategy to the executive team and, where relevant, the Board — shaping investment decisions with clear business impact.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $225,000-$275,000
  • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • 401K with company match (100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2%)
  • Fully Paid Parental Leave - 18 weeks for birthing parents, 12 weeks for non-birthing parents
  • Phone and internet stipend
  • Wellness, learning, and coworking reimbursements
  • Flexible work hours
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 11 paid holidays and December holiday closure
  • Annual In-Person Event
