About This Job
The Vice President, Relationship Manager is responsible for originating, developing, and expanding strategic vendor finance relationships that drive profitable portfolio growth for Verdant Commercial Capital. This senior-level sales role partners with equipment manufacturers, distributors, dealers, resellers, and other channel partners to structure financing solutions that support customer acquisition and increase sales volume.The VP, Relationship Manager serves as a trusted advisor to vendor partners and works closely with Credit, Capital Markets, Operations, and executive leadership to deliver customized financing programs, manage complex transactions, and achieve production objectives. This position requires strong business development skills, deep industry expertise, and the ability to build long-term, high-value relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow vendor financing relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Identify and onboard new vendors, OEMs, dealers, and referral sources
- Structure and negotiate financing transactions in partnership with Credit and Capital Markets
- Manage an active pipeline and achieve sales, revenue, and portfolio growth objectives
- Serve as the primary contact for key vendor relationships and executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with Operations, Servicing, Accounting, and Marketing to ensure successful program implementation and execution
- Represent Verdant at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in equipment finance, vendor finance, commercial lending, or related financial services
- Proven business development and relationship management experience
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
