This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized and enjoys working across teams, building relationships with community partners and participants, solving problems, and moving complex projects from planning to completion. Working closely with Resource Central's Lawn Replacement, Garden In A Box®, Engagement, and Marketing teams, you’ll play a key role in transforming approximately 36 public-facing properties across Colorado from high-water-use grass into attractive, waterwise landscapes, with projects taking place in 2027 through early 2028. Through this work, the Waterwise Project Coordinator will help advance our water conservation impact and help inspire similar transformations in surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Participant & Partner Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, providing responsive communication, coordinating expectations and next steps, and building strong relationships with property representatives, water providers, municipalities, and other partners.
  • Coordinate Site Visits & Planning: Conduct virtual and in-person site visits, verify project eligibility and site conditions, confirm project scope and square footage, gather required information, and help participants prepare for implementation.
  • Organize Landscape Transformation: Work closely with the Lawn Replacement and Garden In A Box teams to coordinate grass removal, utility locating, site preparation, plant delivery, and other project needs.
  • Support Field Operations: Travel throughout Colorado and provide on-site coordination and hands-on support for landscape transformation activities as needed.
  • Maintain Project Data & Reporting: Track project milestones, square footage converted, participant contributions, photos, water savings, satisfaction, and other information needed for grant reporting and program evaluation.
  • Monitor Progress & Resolve Challenges: Identify project delays or challenges, develop practical solutions, and communicate updates and emerging needs to leadership.
  • Support Program Operations & Improvements: Assist with Lawn Replacement activities, customer support, administrative tasks, and other program areas as needed.
  • Foster Inclusion: Help build a strong sense of belonging by ensuring everyone feels welcomed, valued, and included at Resource Central.

  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills in managing multiple projects, timelines, and competing priorities, with a demonstrated track record of seeing projects through from start to finish.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Skilled at communicating effectively, collaborating across teams, and building positive relationships with diverse participants, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Initiative: Self-directed, resourceful, and adaptable in identifying challenges and developing practical solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate records and documentation.
  • Commitment to Sustainability: A passion for environmental stewardship, sustainable practices, or a strong desire to learn.

Qualifications
