The Nexodus Internship Program is looking for an innovative Website Designer Intern to assist in developing and maintaining websites for Nexodus and client businesses. This role offers hands-on experience in web design, coding, and user experience optimization. Ideal candidates have a strong interest in front-end development and web design principles.

 

LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP:

 

- Mandatory In-Person Internship Development Session (Once a month in Dallas)

- Must be able to work 29 hours per week (3-4 days/wk.), which may include nights and weekends as needed.

 

JOB FUNCTION:

- Website Design & Maintenance: Support the design, development, and maintenance of websites for Nexodus and its clients.

- User Experience Optimization: Assist in enhancing the user experience and ensuring mobile responsiveness for websites.

- SEO Integration: Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and traffic.

- Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve website issues, ensuring a seamless online experience for users.

- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure design elements align with the overall brand strategy of Nexodus and its clients.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience with web design platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace).

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Must be a current college Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, majoring in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
