What You'll Do
Core Workday Reporting (Primary Focus)
  • Build and maintain Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and RaaS reports.
  • Write clear, efficient report logic using calculated fields, prompts, and conditions.
  • Support recurring HR processes like performance reviews, planning cycles, and goal setting.
  • Test and validate reports to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Document report purpose, logic, and expected use.

Discovery Boards
  • Build and maintain Workday Discovery Boards for HR teams and leaders.
  • Use simple, consistent visuals and clean logic.
  • Adjust detail and framing based on the audience.

Prism Analytics (Advanced / Selective)
  • Act as the primary Prism expert on the reporting team.
  • Design and maintain Prism datasets, pipelines, and transformations when standard reporting isn't enough.
  • Support multi‑source data and more complex reporting needs.
  • Set practical standards for dataset structure, naming, and reuse.
  • Guide peers on when and how to use Prism well.

Partnership & Intake
  • Translate business questions into clear reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with HRBPs and enablement teams to clarify needs and limits.
  • Explain trade‑offs and recommend realistic solutions.
  • Manage requests with clear priorities and steady delivery.

Quality & Standards
  • Deliver error‑free outputs with clean, readable logic.
  • Build reusable templates and shared reporting patterns.
  • Follow enterprise data definitions and privacy expectations.
  • Identify data issues and work with partners to resolve them.

What We're Looking For
Required
  • 5-7+ years of Workday reporting experience.
  • Strong hands‑on skill with Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and RaaS reports.
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
  • Experience delivering operational, cycle‑based HR reporting.
  • Ability to turn vague questions into clear, workable reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort validating data.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with multi‑source data.
  • Experience working in a centralized or shared reporting team.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting both HR teams and senior leaders.
  • Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.

  • Technical Depth: Strong command of Workday reporting, with advanced skill in Prism data modeling when needed.
  • Analytical Precision: Produces accurate outputs with clean logic and disciplined validation.

  • Stakeholder Fluency: Understands the needs and limits of HR teams and people leaders and designs reporting accordingly.
  • Judgment: Makes practical choices about solution design, complexity, and long‑term maintainability.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Raises team standards through shared patterns, examples, and technical guidance.

$86,030.00 USD - $159,770.00 USD
Structure 115:
$89,950.00 USD - $167,050.00 USD
