We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Workday Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Customer Development Team at Skillcentrix. The SDR plays a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients. This position is ideal for a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and is eager to build a career in business development and sales.

The SDR will focus on generating and qualifying new business opportunities while supporting Customer Development Executives in progressing strategic pursuits.

ResponsibilitiesPipeline Generation & Prospecting
  • Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through outbound prospecting efforts (email, phone, LinkedIn, events, referrals, etc.)
  • Qualify inbound leads in partnership with Marketing (web inquiries, webinar attendees, campaign engagement, etc.)
  • Conduct discovery conversations to assess business needs, timeline, budget, and fit
  • Set qualified meetings for Customer Development Executives and ensure effective handoff
  • Develop and execute re-engagement strategies for stalled or dormant opportunities
  • Drive attendance and engagement at industry and partner events (e.g., Workday events such as Workday Rising, SKO, user groups, webinars)
Sales Operations & Team Support
  • Maintain accurate and timely pipeline data within CRM (e.g., HubSpot) and partner systems (e.g., Workday Partner Center)
  • Track prospect engagement and activity metrics to support reporting and forecasting
  • Assist in proposal coordination, RFI/RFP support, and early-stage deal documentation as needed
  • Support territory management through contact mapping and relationship tracking
  • Prepare meeting briefs, capture notes, and coordinate follow-ups for prospect and partner meetings
  • Identify process improvement opportunities across prospecting, qualification, and GTM collaboration workflows
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, customer-facing roles, or related fields
  • Demonstrated interest in sales and revenue generation
  • Experience working with or selling services related to Workday solutions, or familiarity with the Workday ecosystem and partner model
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident engaging with senior-level stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple prospecting activities simultaneously
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) preferred
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn and other digital tools for prospect research and outreach
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable handling rejection
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing and Account Executives
