IMC is seeking a friendly, proactive, and professional Workplace Experience Specialist to join our growing Chicago team. In this role, you'll serve as the front-of-house receptionist while managing employee engagement initiatives, event planning, vendor relationships and other ad hoc requests. As a key culture ambassador, you'll play an integral role in fostering community and maintaining company morale.

Your Core Responsibilities:
- Act as the face of IMC while warmly greeting employees and guests, helping employees troubleshoot issues, and connecting employees with the right resources
- Answer and manage incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Curate creative content for internal social platforms and digital screens throughout the office to keep employees informed and engaged
- Oversee conference room management, provide booking support, and assist with inter-floor logistics
- Promote and coordinate employee engagement programs, weekly social events, and in-office perks
- Facilitate onboarding/offboarding processes including workspace setup and new hire engagement
- Coordinate travel bookings for employee transfers and serve as the go-to expert for the company's travel platform
- Work closely with our Best Buddy program and collaborate with the Facilities & Events teams
- Enforce security protocols to maintain a safe workplace, including supporting the Emergency Response Team and attending relevant trainings
- Partner with the Workplace Experience Manager on special projects and office-wide initiatives
- Act as a liaison with the building management to address office needs and extend additional perks to employees
- Continually improve workplace operations and identify opportunities for efficiency
Your Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of corporate front desk or reception experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient with Office 365, Canva and other workplace platforms
- Creative thinker with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
