Year-round intern supporting OCC’s AI Research & Engineering team by designing and prototyping agentic AI workflows, integrating models with internal data and APIs, testing accuracy and safety, documenting solutions, and supporting AI governance. Build and deploy production AI applications and infrastructure using Anthropic Claude and AWS. Contribute to agent orchestration, tool integration, context design, automated evaluations, output validation, CI/CD, observability, and AI governance implementation. Collaborate with senior engineers on technical designs, code reviews, and architecture reviews in a regulated environment.

Leads OCC’s AI transformation agenda by identifying business opportunities, building prioritized AI roadmaps, and owning use cases from problem definition through adoption. Translates business needs into technical requirements, evaluates AI vendors and feasibility, supports governed citizen-led development, and partners with CTO engineering teams. The role also drives AI adoption, monitors outcomes and risks, supports portfolio reporting, and advises stakeholders on AI architecture, governance, and operating-model transformation in regulated capital-markets environments.

Owns the end-to-end architecture and deployment of agentic AI systems using Claude and AWS. Responsibilities include agent orchestration, AI infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, risk safeguards, audit logging, human-in-the-loop workflows, and production operations. The role mentors engineers, establishes engineering standards, and requires Python, SQL, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, Docker, CI/CD, and LLM application experience in a regulated environment.
