The Lead Software Engineer will build and maintain a high-performance video Ad Server, overseeing the software development lifecycle and mentoring a team.

Design, build, and scale low-latency ad-serving systems and data/model-driven features. Optimize algorithms and architectures for performance and cloud cost, extend observability, participate in on-call rotations, and produce runbooks and documentation.

Build and scale Buyercloud ad-serving systems that process billions of auctions daily. Design data- and model-driven features, optimize performance and cost, extend observability, participate in on-call rotations, produce documentation and playbooks, and support production incidents.

Build and maintain scalable real-time and batch data pipelines, backend systems, and APIs for ad serving. Create automation and monitoring solutions, ensure data quality and system performance, and participate in the full software development lifecycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize code and workflows, and support operations including variable schedules and occasional nights/weekends.

Design and implement custom enterprise network solutions; support solutions architects and sales; provide Tier IV escalation and troubleshooting; develop capacity planning and network configuration/security standards; create documentation and technical presentations; participate in on-call rotation and occasional travel (up to 15%).
