Supervise Plant Vehicle Team quality activities for underbody, ICE powertrain, and calibration functions at Ford’s Chicago Assembly Plant. Lead warranty analysis, root-cause problem solving, supplier quality support, launch readiness, change-control trials, PPAP reviews, and corrective-action implementation. Coordinate cross-functional quality forums, develop action plans, support plant and supplier issue resolution, and drive functional quality and first-time-through improvements.

The Plant Vehicle Team Engineer supports vehicle quality for Ford’s Chicago Assembly Plant programs. Responsibilities include resolving stop-builds, stop-ships, campaigns, ergonomic issues, and first-time-through defects; leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions; coordinating with design, manufacturing, supplier, and vehicle review teams; managing WERS concerns and alerts; and leading plant trials focused on quality, cost, and supplier improvements.

Drive manufacturing efficiency through labor standards, manpower utilization, line balancing, ergonomics, cycle-time analysis, workstation methodization, and cost-saving initiatives. Develop layouts using ACAD, support labor allocation and training plans, analyze production constraints, resolve job disputes with production supervision and the UAW, and report progress to plant senior management. Must work all required shifts.

Support manufacturing dimensional control by applying GD&T, inspecting components with CMM/3D scanning/laser gauges, developing control plans, leading variability reduction and corrective actions, supervising dimensional control and repair teams, and driving process capability and lean initiatives to ensure production quality and compliance.

Design, develop, customize, and support secure, scalable Salesforce solutions on the Force.com platform. Build Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Flow, OmniStudio, and integration solutions; create automated tests; oversee interface development; document systems; and support deployment processes. Collaborate with product and business stakeholders, provide Salesforce architecture leadership, identify technical risks, and mentor engineers while delivering CRM and workflow capabilities.

Leads suspension structural component design and manufacturing engineering for stampings, castings, and forgings. Develops internal design and manufacturing processes, engineering standards, GD&T, FMEAs, control plans, APQP, and PPAP deliverables. Conducts DFM/DFA reviews, manufacturing simulations, DOE, capability analysis, tooling approvals, validation correlation, and root-cause resolution. Supports prototype and production launches while coordinating with suppliers, plants, testing centers, and cross-functional engineering teams. Occasional travel is required.

Leads the reliability, security, resilience, and cost efficiency of Ford Credit’s hybrid cloud, container, and AI infrastructure. Oversees GCP, Kubernetes/OpenShift, hybrid HA/DR, secure AI enablement, security scanning, compliance, FinOps, and AI-driven automation. Partners with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, vendors, and leadership while mentoring technical teams, resolving complex issues, and presenting operational and financial metrics.

Leads mechatronic subsystem integration across vehicle programs, translating feature requests into coordinated mechanical, electrical, and software requirements. Develops subsystem diagrams, interface control documents, verification plans, and integration readiness strategies. Coordinates hardware and software timelines, investigates build issues using data logs and HIL testing, performs root-cause analysis, and drives containment and resolution across engineering teams.
