Cubii and Tillable win Chicago Innovation Awards. Tillable, a farmland rental management company, won an Up-And-Comer award. Cubii, which launched in 2014 to provide desk workers with compact, seated ellipticals, won in the main category. [Press Release]

Rise Gardens offers indoor hydroponics for cold Chicago winters. The startup, founded in 2017 by Hank Adams, created an IoT-connected, modular hydroponic system that is also aesthetically pleasing. The company also offers a subscription service, which sends seed pods every month and gives users access to its app. [Chicago Business Journal].
