Allwyn, a company specializing in lottery-based gaming entertainment, announced the appointment of its new chief executive officer for Allwyn North America. Khalid Reede Jones will lead the company from its Chicago headquarters office in River North starting July 6.
“I’m pleased to share that Khalid Reede Jones will be joining us as CEO of Allwyn North America,” Allwyn CEO Robert Chvátal said in a statement. “Khalid brings a rare mix of regulatory insight, commercial experience and a genuine commitment to responsible growth. A digitally minded leader who understands the power of partnerships and innovation — I know his perspective and energy will be hugely valuable to our North American business.”
Allwyn North America, which serves as the operating partner of the Illinois Lottery, hopes to leverage Jones’ expertise in commercial discipline, regulatory credibility and digital‑first thinking. Having most recently worked as the executive director of the Virginia Lottery, Jones has more than two decades of experience in senior executive roles across the lottery, gaming enforcement, licensing and private investment segments. In his new capacity as CEO, Jones will spearhead the future growth of Allwyn North America.
