Analytics8, a data and analytics consulting firm based in Chicago, has appointed Tom Munley as its new chief executive officer. Munley succeeds founder David Fussichen, who led the company for two decades.
In his new role, Munley will focus on scaling the company’s operations and advancing its capabilities in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. He aims to help clients transition from building data platforms to operationalizing AI at scale. Munley noted in a company blog that while AI has changed what is possible with data, the firm’s mission to solve complex data challenges remains consistent.
The company plans to deepen its technical partnerships with organizations such as Databricks, dbt, Sigma and ThoughtSpot under Munley’s leadership. These collaborations are intended to provide clients with direct access to product specialists and faster paths to value. Internal priorities for the firm include talent development and strengthening technical depth to support customers through technology transitions.
