Deloitte’s 2024 Technology Fast 500 List Featured 7 Chicago Companies

The highest-ranked Chicago company was Zero Hash, a financial infrastructure company with 31,758 percent growth.

Deloitte, a global accounting and consulting firm, released its 2024 Technology Fast 500 list. The ranking features the fastest-growing technology and life sciences companies in North America. The 30th annual list featured 7 companies from the Chicago area. Last year’s list featured 14 companies.

Companies on the list were chosen based on their fiscal year revenue growth between 2020 and 2023 and ranked based on their percentage growth rate. Overall, the companies featured achieved revenue growth ranging from 201 percent to 153,625 percent over this three-year period. The technology sector, as well as the media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech industries, are represented on the list.

“Chicago has become a thriving hub for technology and innovation, fostering a collaborative environment where start-ups can flourish and scale,” Tracy Harrison, managing director and Chicago emerging growth company practice leader at Deloitte & Touche, said in a statement. “The winning companies of this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list have not only exhibited remarkable achievements and success, but also help to underscore the strength and potential of Chicago’s tech community.”

Ranked #387, 282% Growth

LogicGate is a cybersecurity company that equips businesses with a cloud-based governance, risk and compliance platform. Its solution offers a no-code interface and graph-database management features, allowing companies to navigate risks through a central framework. LogicGate serves companies in industries like fintech, healthcare, utilities, software and more. The company appointed a general counsel earlier this month.

 

Ranked #169, 702% Growth

Xeris is a biopharmaceutical company working to develop various therapeutic products. In spring, Xeris partnered with Beta Bionics to commercialize a product using its technology in Beta Bionics systems. Xeris’ commercially available products include Gvoke, a hypoglycemia treatment, Keveyis, a periodic paralysis treatment and Recorlev, a treatment for endogenous Cushing’s syndrome. 

 

Ranked #71, 1,932% Growth

Operating in the entertainment sector, Vivid Seats offers an online ticket marketplace platform that lets people purchase seats for live events, concerts and sports games. The company offers a rewards program for fans to earn ticket discounts, upgrades and perks. It’s also the official ticketing partner for brands like ESPN, Rolling Stone and the Los Angeles Clippers. Vivid Seats reported $186.6 million in revenue in the third quarter of 2024.

 

Ranked #40, 3,654% Growth

Fingerprint offers fraud protection software to customers of all sizes, including Coinbase, Booking.com, Target and Yahoo. The company offers solutions to shield users against account takeover, SMS fraud, new account fraud and more. It also gives businesses tools to prevent account sharing, enforce paywalls and improve conversion rates. Fingerprint announced a partnership with an AI-powered fraud management company back in May to enhance its service to fintech companies.

 

Ranked #4, 31,758% Growth

Serving startups, enterprises and large corporations, Zero Hash provides technical infrastructure that connects fiat, crypto and stablecoins. Its financial solutions, delivered through APIs and software development kits, help organizations enable services like cross-border payments, commerce, trading, remittance, payroll, tokenization and wallets. Zero Hash launched an embedded solution for low-cost bitcoin transfers in July.
