Energy CX, an energy brokerage located in Chicago, has appointed Miles Rice and Scott Hammes as its co-CEOs to support the company’s growth.
Rice, who previously served as the chief operating officer, helped the company acquire over 1,000 clients. Hammes, who was previously chief revenue officer, helped the company achieve significant customer savings, amounting to over $53 million in 2023. Hammes also grew Energy CX’s sales and account management teams by 400 percent.
In their new roles, Rice will focus on growth and innovation, while Hammes will oversee daily business operations and strategic initiatives. Their combined efforts are aimed at enhancing the company's performance and customer service.
Energy CX uses a data-driven approach to assist clients in managing their energy needs effectively and sustainably. Its offerings span energy procurement, sustainability solutions and utility services across more than 20 states. Under its new leadership, the company plans to drive new partnerships, build new technology and grow its workforce.
