Grainger, a broad line distributor of maintenance, repair and operating products, has announced the appointment of Matt Fortin as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Fortin has been a part of the Grainger team since 2006 and has held various roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s supply chain.
Fortin most recently served as the Grainger’s group vice president for its merchandising and Supplier management function. In this position, Fortin led the team responsible for building and publishing the company’s product assortment. He also led the Grainger's sourcing and commercial operations in China.
