Letter AI, a Chicago-based company offering AI-powered solutions for revenue teams, announced a $40 million round of Series B funding led by Battery Ventures. Its platform leverages AI to equip revenue organizations with digital content and coaching.

The company’s funding announcement coincides with the launch of Letter Compass, which is designed to augment the content, learning and insights from Letter AI with personalized context based on individual customers and deals.

“We started Letter AI after seeing firsthand the very real enablement needs of revenue teams and the inability for legacy platforms to deliver against them. Even today, incumbent providers are busy consolidating for their own financial gain instead of driving product innovation and outcomes for revenue teams,” Ali Akhtar, Letter AI’s CEO and co-founder, said in a company blog post. “Enablement has had the right mission — to help revenue teams win more, win better and win faster. It just hasn’t had the right operating system. Letter Compass is the next advancement Letter AI is making to turn that mission into reality.”
