Chicago was a hot spot for tech companies looking to establish new offices last year. Over the course of the year, at least 17 tech businesses opened new offices in the Windy City.

This year, at least three companies have already opened new office space and many are sure to follow suit.

Along with the new office announcement, Spot revealed plans to hire 200 new employees in the next two years.

BearingPoint is a tech consulting firm headquartered in Amsterdam. The company previously had an office on 300 N. LaSalle but moved into a 12,000-square-foot space in the Merchandise Mart in February. The new office features individual workstations, a cafe and collaboration spaces.

In March, the company opened a 7,000-square-foot office in Chicago that will support Ovative Group’s hybrid workforce.
